At NXT Grounds, we are more than just a field management team — we are part of the local community. Proceeds from our work directly support youth programs, and we are committed to providing real job opportunities for young people in Wayne Township and surrounding neighborhoods.

We’re currently looking to expand our team and have two great positions available. Both roles are essential to keeping our park, fields, and facilities in top shape.


As part of the Field Operations Crew, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the fields and operating equipment that keeps our grounds safe, clean, and game-ready.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery to mow and maintain athletic fields

  • Support field irrigation and turf management

  • Weed trimming, edging, and field line painting

  • Perform general landscaping and field manicuring tasks

  • Ensure all equipment and machinery are used safely and correctly

Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Strong attention to detail and a self-starter mindset

  • Must be respectful, responsible, and able to work independently and on a team

  • Experience with grounds equipment is preferred, but not required

Field Operations Crew: $13.00 – $15.00 per hour

Field Operations Crew

Park & Facilities Support

  • Support minor building repairs and small facility projects

  • Set up, secure, and maintain soccer goals, nets, and benches

  • Line soccer fields and perform basic field preparation tasks

  • Provide support for special events and park needs as they arise

Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift 30-40 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Must be respectful, dependable, and able to work both independently and with a team

  • Strong communication and attention to detail
